At Murrayville Family Practice Group (MFPG), we use AI-powered scribe technology to help your primary care provider document patient visits more efficiently. This allows us to focus more on patient care while ensuring accurate and timely medical records.

How AI Scribe Technology Works

AI scribes assist with real-time transcription and note-taking during appointments. However, they do not replace the judgment of your primary care provider. Every note generated by AI is reviewed and verified by a medical professional before becoming part of your medical record.

Your Privacy and Security

We take your privacy seriously and ensure that all AI-generated documentation follows strict security and confidentiality measures:

• Patient Consent: You will always be informed if AI scribe technology is being used during your visit. If you prefer not to have AI assistance, you can opt out.
• Data Protection: No personal health information is stored or shared outside of Canada unless required by law and with your explicit consent.
• Accuracy and Review: Our providers carefully review all AI-assisted notes to ensure they are correct and complete.

MFPG follows the highest standards set by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) and the College of Pharmacists of BC (CPBC). AI scribes are used as a supportive tool, but final decisions about your care are always made by our healthcare professionals.
