About me
Julienne was born in the Philippines and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 2012. At the end of 2023, she relocated to beautiful British Columbia with her fiancée, drawn by her love for nature and the mountains.
Julienne earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Manitoba and brings for years of experience in Community Health in Manitoba. She holds additional certifications in Advanced Wound Care for Venous and Arterial, Diabetic and Pressure Injuries.
As a Family Practice Registered Nurse, Julienne is dedicated in providing a comprehensive patient-centered care through Women’s Health, Growth and Development, and Wound care. Julienne takes a special interest in weight management alongside chronic disease management to foster a healthier community.
Outside of work, Julienne enjoys traveling and staying active through strength training, hiking and exploring in our province. She is a food enthusiast and engages with her creative side through food arrangement, event planning, photography and writing.
Julienne speaks fluent Filipino/Tagalog and has a basic understanding of Cebuano and Spanish which she happily uses to communicate with whenever possible. She believes that communication is key and strongly advocates for a holistic approach towards our patient’s overall quality of life.
