About Dr. Fagan

Dr. Mitchell Fagan is a highly respected family physician and medical leader, bringing a wealth of experience to Murrayville Family Practice in Langley, BC, where he serves as the physician lead. His academic background includes a BSc (Hon) from Queen’s University, a PhD, and an MD.

 

Dr. Fagan’s dedication to family medicine is evident in his extensive leadership roles. He has served as the former Head of Family Practice and Medical Director at Langley Memorial Hospital, as well as the vice-chair of the Langley Division of Family Practice for five years. Since 2012, he has been the Medical Director of Langley Lodge and recently took on the same role at Bellevue Park in Aldergrove, BC. Additionally, Dr. Fagan provides care to seniors in long-term care facilities in Williams Lake, BC, where he also serves as the Medical Director for Long Term Care Services.

 

He has contributed to numerous regional and provincial committees, most notably serving for six years on the Provincial Family Practice Services Committee, three years on the Provincial Shared Care Committee, and most recently, on the Provincial Physician Indigenous Safety and Humility Working Group.

 

Beyond his medical accomplishments, Dr. Fagan has a unique passion for farming, proudly tending to a herd of llamas. His diverse interests and commitment to community care make him a beloved and respected figure in the Langley medical community.
